Our services include congregational worship, Scripture, preaching, prayer, and communion. The music may move from joyful and energetic to quiet and reflective. You are welcome to sing, stand, sit, or simply observe as you become familiar with the service.

We gather expecting God to meet us through Scripture, worship, communion, prayer, and the work of the Holy Spirit. Sometimes we make space to pray for people personally.

UNITED Kids serves children from birth through Grade 5. On a first visit, please allow about 10 extra minutes for secure registration and check-in. Volunteers complete a screening process, and our check-in and pick-up procedures are designed to help keep children safe.

No. Giving is a practice for people who call Church on the Hill home.

We celebrate the Lord’s Supper every Sunday. In this holy meal, Christ meets us and gives himself to us for the forgiveness of sins, drawing us together into his risen life. You do not need to be a member of Church on the Hill. Whether you have followed Jesus for years or are still seeking him, you are welcome to receive communion with us. If you prefer not to receive, you are welcome to abstain.

We preach from the New International Version (NIV), but you are welcome to bring whatever trusted Bible translation you use.

We are part of the Foursquare Church, a global Pentecostal movement centered on Jesus Christ as Savior, Baptizer with the Holy Spirit, Healer, and Soon-Coming King. At Church on the Hill, we are Pentecostal in our expectation of the Holy Spirit’s present work and deeply rooted in the wider Christian tradition. We gladly receive the worship, wisdom, and practices of Christians across traditions and centuries.
